Businessmen Service
It is evident that youth is a dynamic part of the society ready to go forward, tackle and challenge and accomplish its mission if equipped with the necessary skills and managed properly.
The same thing is true when it comes to youth in the church. There have been youth who have been strongly motivated with the heavenly message and have been working hard for the victorious life of men of God in the Old Testament. Here, citing such people as Joseph, Moses, David, and the three strong men of faiths Daniel, Hannah, Meshack and Azariah would suffice.
It was with this great assumption that Paul trained and engaged Timothy and recruited him in the ministry he was called to. It was with this belief that Paul says, “This and the things that you have heard of me, among many, witness the same commit them to faith the men, who shall be able to teach others also” (2Tim 2:2).
In line with this, Global Mercy of God Church organize youth in youth service and gives them pertinent lessons and trainings to help them equipped, to help them reach their generations and be stronghold in the service of the church and be partakers in the ministry of the Kingdom. The power of the Holy Spirit reaches them through the Word of God
Children Service
Children are the gifts of God (Ps 12:3). Children are the great men of tomorrow. The Bible says,” Train up on child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” That was what God ordered the Israelites to teach their children the commandments of God during their childhood period (Due 11:8-19).
It is very likely that children retain throughout their lives things they hear in their childhood period. Most of the people serving in the church as pillar resisting persecutions, are those that are born from a Christian family or joined Christianity in their childhood period.
It is true that parents care for the proper growth of their children. To this effect, they care, feed and nurture them.
As parents care for the proper growth and fulfillment of their later life, God wants, (and even more) to care for the proper growth and development of his children through Christ beginning from their early conception.
Accordingly, Global Mercy of God Church gives much attention to the spiritual, ethical, social and intellectual growth of the children at the church giving them appropriate Word of God in the children service section.
Family Service
Family is a great institution, which God established for multiplication meant for his glory. Family is the smallest group in the Church structure. The life of a family has great influence positively or negatively on both in the later life of the children and the life of the neighborhood.
Accordingly, working on the life of the family would help the church to fulfill her mission in the gospel dissemination to the contemporary people and the generation to come.
In line with this, Global Mercy of God Church works on family service. Family service would include two dimensions. These are: premarital Family service and post-marital Family service. The main purpose of both dimensions of this service is to create a God-fearing happy family. It is meant to create a model family, as salt and light to the world, beginning from their neighborhood, and draw them to Christ with their lives.
Government Workers Service
The same way as the business has common denominators, the government workers also have common features that they share in common.
Although they are engaged in different sectors, all the government workers work in offices.
Depending on the size of their human resource structures, government workers under this service arranged in a certain group where they could get the service properly. It is believed that in this way they could be a bridge for their co-workers for the Kingdom of God.
Women Service
Despite the traditions and cultural values of Israelites, women are given due attention in the Old Testament.
There are such great women such as Deborah and Jael who humiliated the enemies and give victory to the people and help them have a peaceful life (Jud 4:5) There were such women of good understanding and beautiful countenance as Abigail (1Sam 25:3). There were also such great women as Mary, Moses ’sister, Ruth etc. in the Old Testament.
In the New Testament, we even observe great attention given to women. Jesus gave much attention to women in his ministry, maybe to divert the views of Israelites on women (Jon 4). Proclamation of resurrection was first done by women (Luke 24:1-11; Mark16:1-8).
From the general observation made, it can be said the great majority of the believers in all churches, as in the society, is the women population. So, these people of great majority are to be given special care and proper attention.
To see it from a different perspective, women have a great role and special position. Women are mothers; women are great agents in the neighborhood as far as relationship is concerned. Women are mates and wives for their husbands, and act as pillars in the house in shaping and leading the household.
This means working on women means working on the children, who are the great men for tomorrow’s church and the great asset for the country. Working on women means working on the people in the neighborhood. Working on women means working on their husbands, as women are more active to influence their husbands. Working on women means working on society, as women are naturally active in creating a conducive social situation and reach others early with the message they have at hand.
Consequently, Global Mercy of God Church organize women’s service in the church to work on them accordingly. The church works on women in teaching, training, giving them pertinent Bible-based skill development, empowering and equipping them with the Word of God for their spiritual growth and enrage them for the Kingdom service.
